What a blessing to hear how God has (and is) moving in your lives through your season's of waiting.

Cindy, my cover is fabulous, isn't it?!!! An in-house designer at Bethany named Jenny Parker created it. She read the entire book in manuscript form before she set to work. THAT's dedication! I couldn't believe how much the Matt on the cover looks like the Matt in my imagination!Becky Wadehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04470439134808510195noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8931786447770768460.post-15030806930222700222012-06-11T12:37:17.592-07:002012-06-11T12:37:17.592-07:00This looks like a great read, congrats on its rele...This looks like a great read, congrats on its release.
What a loaded question ...
The Lord has asked for me to wait for a finished home (ours is a do-it-yourselfer that now needs redoing, and a few things that weren't polished!).
The Lord has asked me to wait for an answer to my father's unsolved homicide, 37 years now.
I am still waiting to see loved ones come to a personal relationship with Him.
He honored my waiting to become a published author two years ago.
When we wait resting in His promises, it doesn't seem as hard...LoRee Peeryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06465045728587145734noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8931786447770768460.post-26403861465146987692012-06-11T08:55:31.995-07:002012-06-11T08:55:31.995-07:00Hi Becky! Although I feel like my life has been truly blessed, I'd always wanted a second child.

But not having that second child allowed us to give our daughter much more in terms of life experiences than we would have been able to afford otherwise. And it allowed my husband and me to pursue our own dreams as well.

I can't wait to pick up your book! ...Thank you for having me on your blog, Shirley!

What has God asked me to wait for? He asked me to wait for our third child. My husband and I had two children and yet I felt strongly that God had one more in mind for my family. #3 proved difficult, however. Three years of trying and two miscarriages came and went. Through that season, I simply continued to believe and trust. And in His time, the Lord did send us a third baby. A healthy, sassy, confident, and wonderful little girl.

Through that circumstance and others, the Lord has reminded me of his faithfulness and that "in all things God works for the good of those who love him."
